By your grace enable us to be the voice and the face, the hands and the heart of Christ Jesus. PROPERTY MATTERS: Synod will be carrying out their Property Condition Assessment this month. Tina and Judith have this inspection under control. A lot of items on the agenda like Fire Prevention, Key Register, qualified First Aiders. Unfortunately over the last few months our church has experienced quite a lot of theft and vandalism. Even the lovely newly painted wall in the Sunday School room has been hit with graffiti. We appeal to all church users to take care with God’s sacred property, and censure any such wrongdoing. SKETCHED PLANS FOR 2026: This might change at the AGM and Church Council meeting to be held on 8th Feb, but currently we are planning:
- Breakfast services on Mother’s and Father’s days hosted by the SDA’s
- Fundraiser towards the end of May – for the Q’ld Cancer Council
Ekka Trivia morning tea during August Ekka week- Combined congregations Christmas Carols Late November or early December
We are still appealing for children’s books (either fact or fiction) which are currently filling a container for shipment to and distribution to children in Papua New Guinea. Many or the children there do not have schoolbooks, pens and pencils etc. 
MORNING TEA : Rodney’s Morning tea sessions continue at 10.00 a.m. every Thursday, and once a month we meet for “Chinwag” – on the 3rd Friday of each month. This month at the Archerfield Airport café. OUR PRAYER FOR FEBRUARY: Loving God, in whom we live and move and have our being, give us new awareness of your presence. Touch our minds, that we may know you in the word of Scripture, and in the living word, Jesus Christ. Touch our ears, that we may hear you in music and song. Touch our eyes, that we may remember you in the signs of cross and candlelight. Touch our hearts, that we may love you with a love that sweeps through us like a great tide. Living, loving Spirit of God, touch us with the spirit of love, joy and praise. Amen ,
